Ellana Minerals : Overview

Many bloggers reviewed and uses this brand so i got curious.

Got my items at (The Ramp Crossings at Glorietta2) 

By the time i was shopping the SA told me that the new stocks haven't arrived yet,so what i got was two refills only. 

I would like to purchase the highlight and contour palette but the brown is not brown it's kind of reddish,but i like the highlight so the SA told me i can avail the refill.

she said it's butter rum coffe but i think it's not? i'm not sure if that was really the name because i saw some swatches it made me confused..hahaha!

You can see the silver shiny packs that was the refills, i don't want unlabelled cosmetics so i did something diy.

what you need is sticker paper then i printed ellana's logo :)

the middle one as you can see..she said that was butter rum coffee,the highlight part in their contour palette..

This powder is very smooth and sa said can be used as primer.. that i dont know why. hahaha, but i love this powder! :)

It's love! it smell great and cleanse and dries my brushes very fast!

all in all ellana is love, i was thinking so much to purchase or not the compact type of contour hihi :)

Contour and Highlight Part 4 : Can't get enough!

So i was planning to buy both The Balm items that Stella was using, as far as my research is concerned hahaha i also noticed that these items were crowd  favorites,almost all well some loves Mac products but the others were you know loves The Balm, the packaging is adorable totally. The only problem is when i was ready to buy, the Mary Lou is not available so i turned down both since i was loving my nyx matte bronzer. (The balm is available at beauty bar,for Ph)

and that day, i ended up buying these :

Bought a primer from Canmake (Somera at Glorietta2)

Brush Cleaner,refill powder and refill highlighter from Ellana Minerals (The Ramp Crossings at Glorietta2)

Blending Brush and Brush Guards from Charm Brushes (The Ramp Crossings at Glorietta2)

I was also planning to buy virginia olsen's crowd favorite sculpting brush but it's not avaikable,just online. i hate waiting for packages. hahahha.

So i did some experiment today, i'm not sure if it's good but the highlighter seems to look over? or maybe i placed to much because highlighter is in a loose powder form..(hoping to buy some jojoba oil later so i can pressed the highlighter i bought from ellana).

Contour and Highlight Part 3 : Items i currently have

This will be a quick overview..I'm really not that educated about all makeup uses,even this contour thing but as part of trying this i applied it everyday and it turned out to one praise coming from my mom.. as she oftens complain anout me being pale or whiter than what i am,she said earlier this week that i dont look that white back then. hahahaha. 

as per understanding and i did some research..i got these definitions below :

Contour : Hide the imperfections or just hide. 

Hughlight : Bring out what you want to see more.

Matte Bronzers and darker shades of powders and foundations can be used or commonly used for CONTOURING.

Highlighters,lighter powders,and lightesr concealers can also be used for HIGHLIGHTING.

What i really want was The Balm's bahama mama for matte bronzer and The Balm's Mary Louminizer because of Stella's example but none of which are available locally. So i went out and try these babies that i had.

I have the follwing for contour :

Nyx Matte Bronze in Dark Tan.. the newest and the most favorite among all.

Next up is Suesh in PC02..

this ones is too dark i guess..

Last one is Etude House #5 Shading Corset..this one is too light like almost orangey sometimes.

Highlighting..

Currently i don't have any favorites here i still can't figure out if this higlight thing does any better on my complexion especiall the nose part i like to highlight that but when i'm using these,my nose gets the shiny look that i have when it's oily. ottoke

Nyx in Narcistic,this is currently what i am using in near the eye area..

Next up is The Face Shop High Beam that looks loke Benefit's high beam, this smells great!

Last is Essence Mosaic Pact, this has too much brown in it that it can be used as bronzer but not the bronzer for contouring.

If i'm lucky enough my aunt might get me some of The Balm's :) (wait until May,huhu)

or order the dupes... hahaha, i'm hunting for the next item which are pore hiding primers or mattifying primers! haha :)

24pc. Makeup Brush Set

This makeup addiction is not going to go far away as i'm now addicted to brushes.

and recently i bought a so called "mac" 24.pc brush, it was actually fake but brushes quality are like the elf brushes and marionnaud. so i'm ok with that besides i only want 2 brushes in this set.

which are the fun brush and contour brush..so now i am selling them individually :)
